The Give Love Back Project was a community-based outreach initiative initiated by two of my friends and upon learning about the idea, I immediately took an active role in its planning and execution. This Project was designed to support vulnerable children and widows through coordinated, people-centered action.

Our objectives were to raise NGN 1,000,000, visit two orphanages across two cities, and support ten widows with NGN 40,000 each. Not only did we achieve these goals, but we exceeded them.

By the end of the project, we had visited three orphanages across two cities, supported thirteen widows, and brought joy to the lives of over sixty children. All these, contributing to improved well-being and social inclusion at community level.

I served as the project lead for the Lagos outreach, overseeing logistics and stakeholder engagement. Alongside my friends—David, Itunu, and Jonas—we visited the Little Saints Orphanage Home in Ogudu, Lagos State.

Through this experience, I reaffirmed a core lesson: nothing compares to showing up for people who feel they have no one and it strengthened my commitment to advancing inclusive development, social protection, and community-driven solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDGs 1, 2, 10, and 17.
